April M. Zonnis


April M. Zonnis has been with Summers, Levine & Kretzmer, LLP since its inception, and exclusively practices family law. She has demonstrated her ability to informally resolve disputes whenever possible, but is not afraid to litigate in order to preserve her client’s rights. Always professional and compassionate, she treats each case in her care as a top priority and is consistently available to clients. She handles complex family law cases, such as high-conflict custody disputes, intricate financial matters, and other challenging aspects of divorce on a daily basis.

Ms. Zonnis is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, with Minors in History and Jewish Studies. She served as a Legislative Intern to Congresswoman Jane Harman in Washington D.C., and completed a Legislative Internship in the California State Assembly in Sacramento, CA. Ms. Zonnis received her Juris Doctorate Degree from Southwestern Law School, and was a three (3) time recipient of the Dean’s Merit Award. Ms. Zonnis also completed courses at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution through Pepperdine University School of Law School, the nation’s premier program in dispute resolution.

Ms. Zonnis focused a substantial portion of her legal education in the areas of family law and alternative dispute resolution and received the CALI and Witkin Awards in California Community Property and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable David S. Cunningham, III, Judge, of the Superior Court of the State of California, County of Los Angeles.

Ms. Zonnis is a member of the State Bar of California, the Beverly Hills Bar Association and Los Angeles County Bar Association.
